Why I Created Her Light

There are women we never forget.

But because, at exactly the right moment, they showed us what strength looked like.

Sometimes they're mothers.

Sometimes they're sisters.

Sometimes they're coworkers, teachers, neighbors, or women we only crossed paths with once.

They quietly remind us that resilience doesn't always make headlines.

Sometimes it looks like getting up one more morning.

Sometimes it looks like choosing kindness after heartbreak.

Sometimes it looks like rebuilding a life no one else realizes had fallen apart.

Those are the stories I've always been drawn to.
